I-Caribbean Translations is a division of i-Caribbean Realty and offers translation services and interpreters on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic.

The Puerto Plata – Sosua – Cabarete - Las Terrenas area is a multilingual community of expatriates. Sosua is a German-speaking community founded by German Jews fleeing Nazi Germany. Las Terrenas is a French expatriate community. Puerto Plata and Cabarete boast a large Canadian and British community. Various U.S. translation agencies draw upon this region for translation talent and have offices here.

I-Caribbean Translations provides more competitive rates than these agencies, because of lower overhead and nevertheless employs the same free-lance translators. In addition, we have our own multilingual staff of native speakers.

We use the latest computer-assisted-translation software such as Trados and Wordfast and have built a data base of terminology in the legal, real estate, financial, and business management sectors.

We keep our costs competitive by not trying to be all things to all persons. We translate only in major Western languages and only to the mother tongue. We translate the following language pairs:
